Are you a performance seeker who is constantly looking to get the most out of your car?

Do you want a tire that can take your car to and beyond the limit on dry or wet pavement at any time of the year?

You love pushing your car to achieve its maximum performance. You want to accelerate faster, brake shorter, and you want to have the confidence and control to tackle bad weather conditions when the seasons change.

The BFGoodrich G-Force Comp 2 A/S is a tire built to fit sport coupes, high-performance sedans and other muscle cars.

It’s specially designed for car enthusiasts who want sensational grip all year-round without having to sacrifice a high level of handling and performance.

But does the Comp 2 A/S live upto its bold claim as the best ultra-high performance all season tire ever?

Have fun in the dry and stay safe in foul weather

The G-Force Comp 2 features BFGoodrich’s new high silica cold weather all season tread compound that’s molded into an aggressive V-shaped directional tread pattern for adhesive grip in all conditions.

BFGoodrich GFORCE COMP 2AS Tread

To limit the risk of hydroplaning, and for more biting grip on wet surfaces, the Comp 2 uses V-shaped angled lateral and longitudinal grooves to quickly channel water away from between the tire and the road surface. So if you have a heavy foot and love tearing into corners at the limit, a bit of rainfall won’t discourage you. The Comp 2 gives you the response and predictability you need to give you confidence in emergency situations so you never lose your cool. With these shoes on you’ll find yourself pushing your car further and further to find out what it’s really capable of.

Inside the Comp 2 A/S you can find the BFGoodrich’s unique Etec System of two steel belts that are spirally wrapped with nylon for extra strength and durability. And the sidewalls are reinforced with g-Control sidewall inserts to maximize cornering and handling performance. While the Dynamic Suspension System technology supports the tire for added ride comfort and stability.

It’s high performance driving with a high-level of overall comfort.

The Comp 2 A/S is more than capable of handling themselves in cold temperatures and light snow. It does this while offering fantastic summer performance in both the dry and the wet. However, they’re not the best choice of tire if you live in a northern climate. Especially if you get more than a few inches of snow per year. They lose traction on icy surfaces and deep snow will have your wheels spinning like crazy.

Their treadwear is excellent so you can expect to enjoy plenty of fun driving before they’re done for.

Their combination of wet and dry handling and traction along with terrific ride comfort is very hard to beat. Especially for the price and level of performance they deliver.

Backed by a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty, the BFGoodrich G-Force Comp 2 A/S is available in a staggering 59 sizes. This covers 89% of the market

Prices range from $89 to $267 per tire depending on the size.
