Do you want to increase the performance of your vehicle?

This tire is a wise choice for those considering purchasing a set of high performance all-season tires. Pilot Sport A/S 3+ uses the best of high performance racing technology and innovation. It delivers exceptional traction and handling with great grip in light wintry conditions.

Dry Performance

If you’re a spirited driver and enjoy the rush of flying through tight corners, you’ll love it. The Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus manages to provide phenomenal levels of grip and traction in all weather conditions. Steering feel is incredibly responsive and allows you to push your car on dry roads and take corners quickly.

It uses a Helio+ compound with silica moding it into an aggressive asymmetric tread pattern.

Michelin PILOT SPORT AS 3 W OR YSPEED RATED Tread

The Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus features Michelin’s Variable Contact Patch 3.0. This technology is used in Formula One racing. It helps to reduce heat distortion and distribute pressure more evenly over the tire’s contact patch. This results in reduced wear and tear created by high temperatures. On top of that, cornering grip and responsiveness is improved at all speeds.

Wet Performance

Thanks to the Helio+ Compound and the biting edges in the tread grooves, the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ delivers 28% better snow traction than the older Pilot Sport A/S 3.

You’ll be amazed at how well these tires perform in the heavy rain and in puddles at the side of the road. To resist hydroplaning and increase traction, braking and acceleration in standing water and on slippery road surfaces, the Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus utilizes variable thickness sipes and wide circumferential grooves.

Overall

The Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus is more performance than comfort. Their only fault is that that they’re quite noisy. However, this is is to be expected from an all-season performance tire favoring traction and handling over comfort. That’s the price you pay for such extreme performance.

The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus is affordable and allows you to achieve maximum performance on a budget. Prices start at around $150 a tire. The tire comes with a 45,000 mile tread warranty. It comes in wide variety of sizes ranging from 16 to 20 inches in either a W or Y speed rating.
